Last week, Freelance Post Audio Specialist Damian Kearns (’94) visited to speak with the students about entering the freelance post production market; how to get the job, what to do when you’re in the job, how to market yourself in the modern world of social media and developing yourself as a brand.
Damian’s film and TV credits include Battle of the Blades, PBS Frontline, CBC Olympic coverage, FIFA World Cup Soccer, Pan-Am and Commonwealth Games, Kids CBC, Dragon’s Den, The Nature of Things and Undercurrents. Damian’s work also appears in most of the fifth estate episodes from the past decade and a half, resulting in three of his five Gemini Award nominations.
