The People Behind OIART’s Curriculum

Practical audio training shaped by the people who work in the industry.

Taught by Working Professionals. Shaped by Industry.

Proven by Graduates.

OIART’s Audio Recording Technology curriculum has been built, refined, and supported over more than four decades by a wide network of working audio professionals, instructors, guest lecturers, advisors, curriculum contributors, and graduates.

The names below represent people who have helped shape, support, or deliver OIART’s curriculum and student experience in different ways. Some have taught directly in the program. Others have contributed through guest lectures, curriculum input, advising, workshops, career insight, industry feedback, or alumni perspective.

Together, they represent a wide range of experience across music production, recording, mixing, live sound, theatre, broadcast, post-production, audio for visual media, AV, music business, and other areas of the audio industry.

That connection matters. Audio changes constantly, and OIART’s curriculum is designed to stay connected to the skills, workflows, expectations, and problem-solving mindset students need as they prepare to enter the industry.

Students are not just exposed to impressive names. They are learning from a curriculum shaped by real working professionals and supported by decades of graduates working across the audio industry.
