David Lopez Lopez - Alumni Spotlight

David Lopez Lopez (’01, left) is a Colombian Sound Engineer songwriter and producer based in Miami FL known as Lopez Lopez. After graduating OIART, David began his internship at “DigiNote,” a Miami Beach recording studio where he worked for a year until he met Rudy Perez, one of the top music producers in the world. David became part of his team and started crafting his own skills as a producer/songwriter while working on multiple Latin Grammy nominated projects.

At age 22, Univision Music Publishing signed David to a nonexclusive publishing deal which merged his song catalog with Univision Music, then not long after he launched his own production company called LOPEZ LOPEZ MUSIC INC. Versatile in every aspect of studio production, David has written, recorded, engineered, remixed and produced for a wide variety of artists from all over the world including Wyclef Jean, Jennifer Pena, Natalie Cole and Julio Iglesias.
