OIART graduates Mike Hayes ('05) and Bryan Moreau ('05) had a great experience in Sochi working as audio technicians for the CBC Broadcast of the 2014 Olympics. As audio techs, their duties are spread across different events and venues - including speed skating, moguls freestyle skiing, half pipe skiing, and the opening & closing ceremonies.

Above, Bryan is pictured working the moguls event where Canadians Alex Bilodeau and Mikaël Kingsbury won Gold and Silver medals respectively. He told us, "It's been great fun, especially when we win medals! What an atmosphere!" Indeed, and what an adventure that began with his passion for sound.

Michael is pictured in front of the Bolshoy Ice Dome where the 2014 Sochi Olympics finished with the Men's Gold Medal Hockey Game between Sweden and Canada. Michael also worked the Closing Ceremonies that followed the game.  The past year or so has seen Michael at the top of his audio game, working the NHL Stanley Cup Final, the NHL Winter Classic, the World Figure Skating Championships and now Sochi 2014.

Congrats to both Bryan and Michael on a job well done!
