Our record for turning education into employment is the gold standard.

Bob Breen, our Career Management Director, makes finding you work his life’s work.

In my role as employment counsellor at OIART for over 10 years, I have seen literally hundreds of graduates blossom into successful industry professionals. They have fascinating lives and have often lived great adventures - all thanks to their love of sound. While your ultimate success rides on your natural abilities and hard work, it's so much easier for you when we can provide individualized career guidance and over 30 years worth of top notch connections throughout the audio business. We all remember the challenge of finding our first job. You might be surprised to discover how eager our far reaching network of alumni is to help the next generation of audio engineers along their way. It is my greatest pleasure to connect OIART graduates with this world.”

Our mission is to produce highly qualified and enthusiastic candidates for a burgeoning audio industry. And because we maintain such close ties with studios and industry leaders, much of what we teach is driven by current demand.

You graduate with the expertise and knowledge that’s in demand in today’s audio industry. That gives you a decided advantage and makes you a highly desirable and sought-after candidate.

We wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t help you get your first job.

At OIART, helping you find your first job in the industry after graduation is a responsibility we take very seriously.

In fact, Career Management is an integral part of our curriculum. It’s an OIART exclusive that makes us truly unique. In addition to learning how to be a top audio industry professional, you also learn how to land a job after graduation. We teach you job searching skills, effective resume writing and how to ace an interview.
