Matt very quickly worked his way up from assistant to engineer in the highly competitive Los Angeles studio world, mixing Rolling Stone magazine’s 2009 Album of the Year, “Dear Science” by TV on the Radio. Despite his success he chose to continue to apprentice as assistant and Pro Tools editor for “Spike” Stent, one of the world’s top mixers. Matt’s credits include P!nk, James Blunt, Usher, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kanye West, Timbaland, Jordin Sparks, No Doubt, Fall Out Boy, Beyonce, Lights, and Barbara Streisand. Graham Van Pelt

Miracle Fortress, (Labels: Rough Trade and Secret City) – Self produced, performed and recorded, Miracle Fortress is in fact Graham himself. His album “Five Roses” was one of the great critical successes of 2007, gaining universal acclaim and a Polaris Prize nomination for best album of any genre that year. He has toured Canada and Europe, and has also performed in the group Think About Life with drummer Jordan Robson-Cramer of Sunset Rubdown since.
