Audio Mathematics
Many of the fundamental relationships and concepts concerning the nature of sound and audio technology can best be illuminated through relatively simple mathematical descriptions. This one-semester course in Audio Mathematics is designed as a 'refresher' class for those who may have been away from math for some time. It is practical in the sense that every arithmetic tool described is used to deepen understanding of concepts used throughout the program -- most notably in the following courses: Recording Technology, Pro Tools™, Acoustics and Studio Maintenance.
