Live Sound Lab
This is our Live Sound reinforcement
and lighting lab. Students are introduced
to the fundamentals such as stage assembly,
AC distibution, FOH and stage monitor loudspeaker
system management using a DBX drive rack,
as well as basic DMX lighting design and
programming.

As of this writing,
the technology includes professional custom staging, 3-way loudspeaker
system, custom built wedge monitors, HH
power amplifiers, a wide selection of mics
for numerous applications, Yamaha 01V96
digital console, and DBX Drive Rack controlled
via a laptop PC interface. A front box
lighting truss is loaded with bars of Thompson
Par 56 lighting fixtures, controlled by an
Elation DMX lighting system.
