Grad Roger Leavens ('98) and Umber Hamid own and operate Boombox Sound - a Toronto based studio that takes on a wide variety of projects in music, TV/Radio commericials, and video games.  

Roger has also worked closely with several record labels (Paper Bag, EMI, Saddle Creek) to produce/engineer for artists on their roster. He produced/engineered two recent releases from popular Toronto label Paper Bag RecordsDIANA's Perpetual Surrender, and Born Ruffians' Birthmarks. His past clients in TV, radio, and games include MTV, Ford, Campbells, Toyota, Ubisoft, and a whole lot more. 

 

Roger's specialities include analogue synths, and he uses his knowledge and experience with them as a tool for creating original sound design and music.
