Music Production
Not only is recording technologically complex, it’s also an interpretive and artistic process. While Recording Technology and Pro Tools™ classes explore tools and techniques, Production focuses on the artistic intent of a recording.
Moving from simple to more complex sounds, you’ll study the creative and aesthetic impact of modern recording, while learning the secrets of successful mixing and processing techniques. In addition to training your ear with in-depth listening exercises, you’ll discover how to sculpt a recording with specific production goals in mind, marrying studio techniques with artistic intent. And by the third semester, you’ll be producing your own independent projects at a level you can scarcely imagine!
