Requirements

Academic requirements

  • Proof of high school graduation or equivalency, with signed transcripts (Students may apply before completing high school by sending their most recent transcripts. Updated transcripts and proof of graduation must be submitted to the registrar's office by July 15th of the upcoming school year.)
  • Two references, one preferably from an instructor who can attest to your interest and/or experience in audio production
  • A written summary, in essay form, explaining your experience in the audio production and recording world — whether it be volunteer work, a hobby or formal studies
  • For applicants whose first language is not English, must submit TOEFEL or Cambridge EFL results, since oral and written comprehension are crucial for your success

Administrative requirements:

  • A photocopy of a government-issued photo ID
  • A photocopy of either a passport or birth certificate
  • International students must submit proof of citizenship, proof of age (photocopy of birth certificate or passport) and if accepted, a copy of their student authorization by the beginning of the program

Technical requirements:

  • A personal computer running Windows or MacOS
  • Microsoft Word (Office 97 or later)
  • An internet connection
